BrandsForBands is a proprietary, 100% free web application that enables record labels, music marketers, artist managers, publishers and other music reps to quickly and easily submit, license and manage their content for inclusion in brand initiatives and other opportunities - all through an easy-to-use web interface. Content providers upload songs and artist assets (photos, bios, links, etc.) via the BrandsForBands web site, then license them for inclusion in brand promotions and other opportunities. Everything is done electronically, saving everyone vast amounts of time and effort.

As many as you want. In fact, we encourage you to upload as many as you can (this is a great job for an intern).

Yes. If you don't control the rights to the music you represent, you're free to upload it and opt it into promotions provided you've been granted the authority to do so by the rightsholder(s). During the song upload process you'll be asked to tell us who the rightsholders are. If we have any questions, we'll contact them directly.

Yes. Once your account is activated, you'll have the ability to create additional users. That said, we encourage you to limit the number of users in your organization, because it'll reduce the chances of songs being uploaded multiple times.

Yes, however they're signed electronically with a simple click of a button. No more printing and faxing licenses. Once you've electronically signed a license, it's available for viewing and printing anytime. You can also "unlicense" a song, should you want/need to do that.

Not right now, but eventually we'll require that all content be submitted and licensed through BrandsForBands. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with it now, so that you'll be prepared to use it when the switch-over occurs (we'll give you ample warning).
